The base, consisting of a stainless steel frame, is decorated with the Le Creuset logo. The case with a height of 21 cm is made of the plastic material "ABS"; the wide shaft allows easy filling with pepper and salt grains (capacity approx. 45 g peppercorns). The metal knob on the top part of the mill is used to adjust the grinder and is embossed with the letters "P" or "S".
