- METAL GRINDING: Equipped with a 150x20mm K36 wheel running at 2980rpm, the BGS700 works as a metal grinder for removing burrs, smoothing rough edges and shaping suitable steel parts.
- BELT SANDING CONTROL: A 686x50mm K80 belt runs at 15.6m/s, with a tracking screw to help maintain alignment.
- The adjustable workpiece rest provides extra support when using the machine as a bench sander.
- WOOD SURFACE PREPARATION: From smoothing timber edges to refining small profiles, the BGS700 takes on jobs usually done with belt sanders for wood.
- Work along the grain to prepare surfaces for a cleaner finish. EDGE SHARPENING: Maintain suitable chisels and steel cutting tools using the BGS700 as a blade sharpener.
- Work at the correct angle with light pressure, then cool hot metal in the water tray away from the wheel.
- POWER AND STABILITY: A low-vibration induction motor rated at 250W continuous (S1) and 370W short-time (S2 30min) drives this tool sharpener.
- Bench-mounting holes allow secure installation on a sturdy worktop.
