- TURNIP GOLDEN BALL SEEDS: A dwarf Turnip producing round roots with a tasty yellow flesh. Very hardy and stores well. Can also be sown for Turnip Tops. SCIENTIFIC NAME: Brassica rapa glabra
- SOW INDOORS: N/A. SOW OUTDOORS: May – July. ROW WIDTH: 12”/30cm. HARVEST: July onwards. SEEDS: 760 Approx.
- OUTDOOR PLANTING: Sow seeds thinly 2.5cm deep direct in growing beds in rows 12" (30cm) apart. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 6" (15cm) apart. Lift the turnips when they are the size of a golf ball. Sow in August for turnip tops, do not thin.
