  • INDOOR PLANTING: Sow seeds thinly 1 cm deep in trays of moist compost, being careful not to over-water. Store in a warm location at an approximate temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F). Plants can be moved to an unheated glasshouse in April or hardened off and planted outdoors from June.
  • OUTDOOR PLANTING: Sow seeds 1.5 cm deep directly in growing beds, spacing rows 6 inches (15 cm) apart. Keep the soil moist and avoid over-watering. Once large enough to handle, thin to 18 inches (45 cm) apart. Cloches can be used for extra protection. Stake plants using canes when needed. Feed regularly with liquid tomato food. When plants reach approximately 18 inches (45 cm), pinch out the top to encourage bushy growth.
